Reminder to our 5th Grade families! This Friday we get to celebrate your members as they graduate from our after-school program.

While this may be a sad time, we want to gather together and remember the fun times and the accomplishments they have made while at The Salvation Army.

We will see everyone at 6pm for the ceremony in the Chapel and dinner in the YP Hall afterwards.

As we near the end of another incredible school year, we want to thank all of our families for allowing The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center of Allegany County to be part of your child’s journey this year.

Originally, our after-school program was scheduled to continue through June 5th. However, due to ongoing illness, staffing limitations, low attendance, and program needs, we have made the difficult decision to end our after-school program early.

Our final day of after-school programming will be: Friday May 22nd.

This decision was not made lightly, and we are incredibly grateful for the memories, laughter, growth, and relationships built throughout this school year.

We would also like to inform families that our 5th Grade Graduation Celebration will still take place on:
June 5th
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Families of graduating members will be receiving invitations soon. We are excited to celebrate this special milestone with our members and their loved ones!

Thank you again for your continued support, patience, and trust throughout the school year. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful summer!

Today was filled with joy as our kids adopted their own plush friends—simple gifts that brought BIG smiles 😊

We are so thankful for Sheetz and Tessa Davis for their generosity. Tessa also leads self-defense with our members every Tuesday, and her impact goes far beyond the mat 🙌

We are closed this week for all services as our staff are away for important training. In addition, our food pantry and social services office will continue to remain closed until Monday, May 4th.
