🕰️ WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN 1996?

While the world was listening to the Spice Girls and watching Independence Day, our founder was laying the groundwork for something that would change lives for decades to come.

In 1996, Alan Belcher began forming Veterans Path to Hope and its mission to help veterans facing homelessness and other challenges find support, stability, and a path forward.

Thirty years later, that mission is still going strong. What started in 1996 has grown into 30 years of serving those who served us.

Here's to where we started, how far we've come, and the veterans we're still here for.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR UNITED FOR VETERANS GALA VOLUNTEERS! 🙌❤️

A night like our Time Travelers Ball doesn’t just happen—it takes an incredible team of people working behind the scenes to make it all come together!

From setting up decorations and preparing tables to helping guests, supporting the auctions, selling key pulls, assisting with checkout, and making sure everything ran smoothly, our volunteers put in so much time, hard work, and heart to make our Gala a night to remember!

So much happens behind the scenes that our guests may never see, and we couldn’t pull off an event of this size without the amazing people who step up, lend a hand, and give their time to support our mission.

To every volunteer who helped before, during, and after the Gala: THANK YOU! Your dedication and generosity mean the world to us and help us continue supporting veterans and their families. 🇺🇸

We are so grateful for our VPH family and everyone who helped make this year’s Gala such a special and unforgettable evening. We couldn’t do it without you!

Cook County Military & Veterans Resource Fair is THIS SATURDAY!

Veterans Path to Hope is excited to join organizations from across the area at Brookfield Zoo Chicago to connect veterans, service members, and their families with valuable resources and support.

📍 Discovery Center at Brookfield Zoo Chicago

🕦 Opening program begins 11AM

Bonus: It's also Boo at the Zoo! Bring the kids in their Halloween costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the zoo after the event. 🎃

Everyone deserves a place where they can feel safe, secure, and at home.

We’re grateful to share that Veterans Path to Hope has received a 2026 FNBO Impact Grant in support of New Horizons Transitional Living Program! This grant will help further our work to create and preserve housing opportunities for veterans in our community.

A safe, stable place to call home can make all the difference. Thank you to FNBO for investing in this important work and recognizing the role stable housing plays in helping individuals, families, and communities thrive. ❤️
