🐾 If Miso, Wonton & General Tso Say Making a Will Is Easy, it must be true! 🐾

August is Make-A-Will Month and it is the perfect reminder to take a few minutes to protect the people—and the pets—you love. ❤️

One simple way to make a lasting difference is to name On Angels’ Wings Pet Rescue as a beneficiary in your will. You can choose a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or another gift that fits your wishes. It doesn’t cost you anything during your lifetime, but it can make a tremendous difference for homeless pets for years to come. 🐾❤️

And there may be financial benefits, too. A charitable gift through your will can potentially qualify for an estate-tax charitable deduction, which may help reduce the taxable portion of your estate and preserve more for your loved ones, depending on your circumstances.

Please Help Us Keep Our Doors Open

Supporters, we need your help. ❤️

The cost of veterinary care, utilities, supplies, and everyday operating expenses continues to rise, and we’re finding ourselves struggling to keep our doors open. On top of those ongoing expenses, we’ve recently been hit with several unexpected and hefty medical bills.

🐾 Sweet Bernadette is currently fighting awful parvovirus. Emergency intervention is crucial to give this fragile puppy the best chance at survival. Her estimated medical costs are $5,000.

🐾 Gentle Brax arrived with an oral mass that requires careful removal. He was evaluated by a dental specialist who agreed that surgery is necessary. Unfortunately, right before his procedure, his pre-op bloodwork revealed he has a protein losing nephropathy. We’re now working to determine why and what additional care he needs. His current estimate is $4,000.

🐾 Bagel & Sierra are two wonderful dogs who arrived heartworm positive. Thankfully, heartworm disease is treatable with proper medical care, but treatment is costly. Their estimates are $1,500 each.

That’s over $10,000 in medical expenses for these four dogs alone—and we still have the daily needs of all the other animals in our care.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue saying YES to animals who desperately need us. If you’re able to donate or share their story, we would be incredibly grateful. ❤️
