Honoring Shawn ~ โค๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธWe are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own Foundation members, Shawn Tegtmeier.
Shawn was a shining light in our community and within our Foundation. If you ever participated in a 5K, volunteered at a running event, or worked with a personal trainer, chances are you knew Shawn. Her passion for helping others, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and building community connections touched countless lives.
Shawn's kindness, energy, and dedication made a lasting impact on everyone she met. While we mourn her loss, we are grateful for the many memories she created and the positive influence she leaves behind. Her legacy will continue to live on through the people she inspired, the friendships she built, and the community she helped strengthen.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Shawn's family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. โค๏ธ

The Crystal Lake Cardboard Regatta be lookinโ€™ for deckhands to help make this fun-filled family event a grand day at the beach. Volunteers will lend a hand with event activities throughout the day and help keep the Regatta sailinโ€™ smoothly.
All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, some hearty grub, and be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to the Vulcan Room! https://www.vulcanroom.com
The Crystal Lake Cardboard Regatta is hosted by the Crystal Lake Parks Initiative Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting the Crystal Lake Park District.
