F3 NWIND 5K for Fair Haven Update

It is with sincere disappointment that we share that the 2nd Annual F3 NWIND 5k for Fair Haven , scheduled for September 5th, has been postponed.

The extensive damage caused by the August 11th storm has forced the Highland Parks Department to close Wicker Memorial Park indefinitely and cancel all park reservations for the remainder of the year.

We know many of you have already signed up, made plans, committed your time, and supported this event. Our sponsors and vendors have also stepped up to help make this race possible. We are truly sorry that circumstances beyond anyone's control have led us to postpone the event, and we sincerely appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and continued support.

We are not giving up on this race.

We are actively working with our vendors, the Town of Highland, our sponsors, and race participants to reschedule the event sometime this fall. We hope to have a plan solidified in the coming weeks. Once the details are finalized, we will provide a follow-up announcement and contact registered race participants directly with the new date and location.

Above all, we are incredibly grateful for your support of F3 NWIND and our partner, Fair Haven Center. This event is about more than crossing a finish line. It is about supporting Fair Haven and their mission to support and protect women during some of their most difficult and vulnerable times.

Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and for believing in this cause. We are humbled by the support we have received and remain committed to making this event happen.

We’ll keep moving forward, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the starting line soon.

🚨 WICKER PARK UPDATE 🚨

Wicker Memorial Park remains temporarily closed following the recent storms, so our Wicker Park workouts are on hold until the park reopens.

But we’re not stopping! 💪🔥

This Saturday, August 29th, we’re converging at Sauer Patch in Crown Point!
