We sat down with Shawn Lewis from Gilead Church to talk about the importance of long-term partnerships, navigating leadership transitions, preparing the next generation, and the challenges, and how serving in Guatemala has shaped his perspective on faith and leadership.

This conversation is one you won’t want to miss. ▶️ Watch the full conversation on our YouTube channel! Link in bio.

We have a family health update to share regarding Cheryl. ❤️

Cheryl is scheduled to undergo surgery on October 26th, and we invite you to join the Hope of Life family in praying for her, her medical team, and the recovery ahead.

You might be surprised to learn that the majority of our work actually happens beyond our campus!

That’s why we love taking teams out into rural communities across Guatemala to meet families, see the work firsthand, and find meaningful ways to serve alongside them.

Your trip might take you somewhere completely different, but one thing stays the same: your time here helps us Save more Lives!

Each food bag is packed with familiar, practical staples - including corn flour, beans, cooking oil, rice, sugar, and a fortified protein drink that adds important nutrients to a family’s diet.

It’s a simple, cost-effective way to help families stay full and nourished - and something our mission teams get to be part of firsthand when they pack and deliver food bags to communities across Guatemala. ❤️
