Hey friends of Fowler Court Seniors,
I wanted desperately to do Bingo and a grill out in September, but was not able. 😞
I miss my friends and I know they miss me but I know that most of all, they want me to take care of myself.
The annual Christmas Craft is a must according to Mason and I have to the annual Christmas Wish Lists because I love it so much.
We’ve got time on those
BUT
there are some urgent needs
that I really need help with now.
I will blocking these people so that they are unaware and will be surprised.

1) Shirley (Nana) Taylor has always been on top of her game when it comes to cards. Since Papa Taylor passed earlier this year she had continued to stay on it. (Some of us have gotten two birthday cards this year.)
She can’t get around well but she is a firm believer of not letting those hands get idle so she keeps a pen and some sort of something to write on near her at all times.
I think it would be amazing to have a bunch of folks, whether she knows you or not, send her some encouraging, sweet, or fun little greetings.
She’s got a couple of big FIRSTS coming in with the holidays and then into the first of the year. I know it would mean so much to her to know that people are thinking of and praying for her.

2) is our beloved Ms. Glenda Freeman. She had lived by Mr. Arbie for many many years so we got to see her often when one of us visited him.
She had to go into a nursing home recently and seems that she may not be able to go back to her apartment at Fowler Court. She is not happy about it at all but she’s trying to stay on the bright side as much as possible.
She doesn’t get many visitors, much less any cards but I know it would brighten her day(s) so much to know that people are thinking of and praying for her. She’s the sweetest most precious thing and we love her dearly.

And last, but certainly not least, our dear sweet friend, Ms. Myrtle Beasley.
A few months ago she was in a terrible accident. She was t b***d but thankfully her little dog tango was not in the front floor board (where he always is). Myrtle Spent time in the hospital and then in therapy. She’s still got a ways to go and probably not quite driving yet but if you know Myrtle, you know she rides.
Myrtle doesn’t just ride to be riding either! She rides to help friends, check on family, get to church and do her quilting in a church group on Thursday. She wore the rubber off burning up the road and helping look after Stanley for so many and checked on and helped her son and is wife that had dementia.
She is one of the most selfless people I’ve ever met and pray that I have that much “go” in me when I’m her age.
I don’t know the insurance situation. Idk what the other party had, what Myrtle had or how that all came about. Myrtle drove a very old but sturdy 4 door. I’d describe it as a tank. 😂and unbelievably, it’s totaled.
She’s got to get a car. She has quilts to make, people to visit, help and feed and church to get to!
