Friends, supporters, everyone!!

This is an URGENT and DESPERATE plea for help with these 8 that we’ve promised to partner with DalmatianRescue SoFla Pati Dane on!

These dogs are SAFE, at the vet, and getting all of the care needed. - BUT, we are miles away on funding…. A couple of them need pretty extensive care and we need some donations towards their bills.

Both of our rescues are 501c3 so your donations are tax deductible. You can head over to the SoFla page for a direct link or contact me and I can put you in touch with the vet directly if you prefer.

ALSO- we REALLY REALLY need fosters. We’ve had so many offer to help but put so many stipulations on it, and with these dogs being fresh into rescue we just don’t have a ton of feedback to share other than that they have been extremely sweet and affectionate and so thankful for our help.

If you are able to welcome one into your home as a foster dog or ready to adopt- PLEASE reach out. We want to get them into foster homes as soon as possible.

If you have EVER considered fostering or adopting a Dalmatian- 🚨NOW IS THE TIME🚨

We are about to partner with Dalmatian Rescue of South Florida on a MAJOR intake. We cannot do this without some help!

Please contact me ASAP if you are in a position to foster or adopt or donate! We will really need some help here to help a very unfortunate situation.

RIP sweet Paris 💔💔💔💔 if love and supporters could have saved you, you’d be here with us still.

Today was so sad. Paris went in for foreign body surgery and we had to make the heart breaking decision to not wake her back up.

The cancer had affected her liver, pancreas, and small intestines and was at end stage. The vet felt she wouldn’t have a favorable recovery and would be suffering a lot of pain and it was unfair to put her through major surgery recovery and end stage cancer.

Trust me, this decision was incredibly difficult to make and we hate this part of rescue- we want to save them all. But sometimes saving them means helping them not suffer and loving them through it, even when it’s gut wrenching for us. Sometimes you don’t know the best and right decision to make as all of the choices suck.

This is why we love our vet- he always has so much empathy and understanding and tells us the truth, even when it hurts. He’s willing to try hard but also not afraid to face the bad news and help us through it.

We are just so happy that she spent her last two weeks knowing what it was like to be loved. She became a part of our family. She laid in the kitchen with us while we cooked, laid with us while we worked, loved Sadie and Emersyn and absolutely loved exploring the farm. I’m so happy she got out of where she was, as her passing would have been horrendously worse without medical intervention. At least she didn’t suffer and was given love and comfort her final days with a soft bed, air conditioning, lots of food and water and attention. But it still just sucks.

I’m so sorry we couldn’t save you Paris. Our hearts hurt tonight. To all who donated towards her care - thank you!!!! Truly from the bottom of our hearts we are so thankful- every single dime and then some went to her care. The surgery, X-rays, prescription food and medications she was on, as well as the biopsy’s and bloodwork added up to a little more than $1000. We never could have saved her without the donations so we thank our supporters so much!!

Paris here!!! She could use all the prayers and good lucks today as possible!! (And maybe some more donations 🙏🏻 if you have it to spare- every dollar makes a huge difference and is tax deductible as we are a 501c3 non-profit organization).

Over the weekend she’s been a little under the weather. Her symptoms are synonymous with a foreign body and since we know she has one - something she ate while locked in that house for a week😡- we are going to need to do surgery. We had hoped it would pass on its own but it doesn’t seem to want to do that.

So she’s going in this morning for a second xray and then probable surgery. The vet will also be able to evaluate the level of cancer in her GI tract while in there too which will give us a much better idea of her long term prognosis and treatment plan.

Please send her all the love today! 🐾

Paris here to say hi!!! I wanted to give a quick update on her as so many of you have donated and cared about her and we can’t thank you enough!! Every penny has been put to use and then some and we have much more ahead of us. Here’s the quick and dirty.

She’s got cancer. Mast cell tumors. They are all over and possibly (probably) already in her GI tract effecting her appetite and stool.

Her bloodwork and Heartworm and parasite status was perfect though!!

AND…… she has a foreign body 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ (these seem to be my lot in life). She must have eaten something in the house when she was locked in there. The previous owner says she ate “all kinds of things”…. Of course - she was starving!!! (She has not even TRIED to chew or put her mouth on ANYTHING here and lord knows we’ve got enough toys around! The dog does not eat stuff- so that shows you how hungry she was!!

Now, what it is? We don’t know. It’s weird. But what we do know is that she’s not having severe or acute issues from it and the vet is more worried about her loose stool and occasional vomiting being attributed to the cancer.

She’s so playful, spunky, adorable, wanting love, and full of life! She’s also deaf.

We plan to hold off on surgery for now to continue to evaluate her and watch her GI signs. The vet agrees- we don’t want to put her through extensive foreign body surgery for her to continue to experience severe GI symptoms related to the cancer and suffer through surgical recovery.

We are on a wait and see for now. But for now she’s so loved here and having a really good time. She loves walks, butt scratches, my kids teething cookies, and laying by our feet. She’s such a good girl. Thank you to all who have helped or continue to!

Yall! She’s so sweet and docile! She’ll be available for adoption soon! She’s in better shape than anticipated- thankfully!. We still have to vet her and get her re-fed/hydrated though.

She is good with cats and dogs and kids!

This week has been busy for us!

Today we helped take in these two cuties who are headed to DalmatianRescue SoFla Pati Dane. They and Merry (the adorable female we fostered over Thanksgiving) made their way south today towards their forever homes!!

Rescue isn’t easy or cheap- all will need shots, spays/neuters, training, and more before they are ready to adopt.

If you’d like to donate to their care, don’t forget we are a 501c3 and your donations are tax deductible!!

Our PayPal for donations is [email protected] or you can message us and we can put you in direct contact with the vet performing the services on a particular animal that you’d like to help with. Any and all donations are much appreciated!!
