As we come to the end of the week we want to ask you to join us in praying for the students that are going back to school. School can be an exciting and enriching place for students, but there also are challenges like making friends, temptations, distractions, etc. Many students are learning about the world, and finding where they fit into it.

Would you pray that the students would have the discernment to know what they need to do and how to do it the right way. That they would not only be able to turn down the temptations that are thrown their way daily, but that they would be a light for Christ in their classrooms, buses, cafeterias, and throughout their whole school. Pray that we as believers and the church would invest the needed time and energy into discipling and encouraging students. That we would be willing to meet them where they are at.

Today we are praying for the administration at schools. They are responsible for making the decisions that shape the school year. They are trying to make the best decisions to ensure success for students and teachers.

If you will join us in praying for the administration staff at the schools in your area. Pray that God would give them wisdom in their decision making. That those that have a relationship with Christ would be able to be a witness through their leadership even when it’s difficult. Pray that everyone would work together with the student’s best interest at heart.

Join us in praying for the support faculty at schools. They do so much behind the scenes to ensure each child can be successful at the school. They are the ones that keep the building maintained and clean, help ensure communication between the schools and parents, driving students, and so much more.

If you will join us in praying that God would bless their efforts, and that they will feel the appreciation for their work. Pray that as they interact with students, teachers, and parents that they would be a witness and open opportunities to show Christ’s love.

Today if you would join us in praying for the teachers. Teachers play a pivotal role in children’s growth physically, mentally, and even spiritually. There are teachers that serve as some children’s only source of love and encouragement. However, there are many stresses and challenges that come with teaching.

If you would pray that God would allow the teachers that have a relationship with Him to be able to continue showing the love and value to each child they teach. Pray that parents would work with the teachers to see their children thrive. That they would have the time they need to accomplish what is necessary while also having time for their own families.

As many of our students, teachers, and administrative staff are going back to school today, we would ask you to join us this week in praying for each specific group.

Today if you would join us in praying for the parents. We start with parents because that is who God has given the ultimate charge of raising up, discipling, and encouraging each child. Pray that God would bless them with wisdom, patience, and discernment. Pray that He would open doors for us as believers to encourage and uplift them throughout the year.

Parents, we know it is highly rewarding, but at times equally frustrating raising your students. Know that we love you and appreciate the effort you put in to see your children grow up knowing who God is and what He has done for them.
