💙 VOLUNTEERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE! 💙

We are incredibly grateful for the Oxford University volunteers who give their time, energy, and talents to support the young people served by the Taylor Made Foundation (TMF) and Washington Street Community Center (WSCC).

Volunteers are more than an extra set of hands. They help us create stronger programs, provide students with additional encouragement and support, and expose young people to caring adults who are willing to invest in their success.

Through their service with TMF and WSCC, Oxford University volunteers help us expand what we can offer our students while strengthening the connection between our organizations and the community.

For our students, having college volunteers involved also matters because they get to interact with young adults who are pursuing higher education, exploring careers, and building their own futures. Those relationships can help students see new possibilities for themselves.

And the impact goes both ways. Volunteers gain meaningful, hands-on experience working with youth, serving the community, developing leadership skills, and seeing firsthand how local nonprofits work to meet community needs.

When universities and community organizations work together, everybody benefits.

Thank you to our Oxford University volunteers for choosing to serve alongside TMF and WSCC and, most importantly, for choosing to invest your time in our students. ❤️

We are excited to announce that Zayvion has been named Director of Educational Impact for Taylor Made University (TMU)! 💙💛

In this leadership role, Zayvion’s primary focus will be working closely with our Senior Scholars, helping to ensure they are college and career ready. He will provide guidance, support, and resources as they prepare for graduation and take their next steps into college, the workforce, or other career opportunities.

Zayvion brings a passion for education, leadership, and helping young people reach their full potential. We are excited about the impact he will make on our Senior Scholars and the entire TMU program.

Welcome to Newton County, Fifth Third Bank! 🏦🎉

The new kids on the block are celebrating their new Town Center location with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, and we’re inviting our community to come out and give them a Taylor Made welcome!

But we’re even more excited about what could happen after the ribbon is cut. 👀

The Taylor Made Foundation looks forward to partnering with Fifth Third Bank to bring financial education directly into our student curriculum this fall, giving our young people and their families opportunities to build practical skills around money, banking, budgeting, saving, credit, and preparing for their financial futures. 💳💵📈
