The Health and Safety Fund and the Keller Family Adult Vocational Fund are Field of Interest (FOI) funds recently used to support Harrison County Lifelong Learning, Inc.

FOI funds support a specific purpose rather than a particular entity. HCCF currently holds 20 FOI funds, covering a range of areas, including animals, arts, environmental needs, education, health and safety, and recreation.

This June marks Dakota Benavidez's two-year work anniversary at HCCF!

In her versatile role as Office Manager, Dakota supports a range of areas, including office operations, program and board support, scheduling, and events. Whether helping connect people, programs, or projects, she plays an important role in keeping the Foundation running smoothly behind the scenes. Dakota also oversees HCCF's participation in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program for Harrison County, which provides children from birth to age 5 with free, age-appropriate books delivered monthly. Last month, Dakota graduated from Leadership Harrison County, further strengthening her leadership skills and commitment to serving the community.

While every day looks different for her, she consistently brings a friendly, professional, and hardworking attitude to everything she does.

Yesterday, HCCF hosted nonprofit leaders serving Harrison County for a Fundraisers Group meeting. This open forum session provided an opportunity for attendees to share current needs and goals, suggest topics for future events at HCCF, and build new connections, which will help them better serve the community.
