🚨 PARVO CASES ARE ON THE RISE 🚨

💔 A nearby shelter recently experienced a devastating parvo outbreak that resulted in several dogs losing their lives and the facility temporarily closing for cleaning and containment. 💔

☢️ Parvo is not only a shelter concern. It can spread quickly throughout our community and remain in the environment for long periods of time. ☢️

🏥 If your dog is experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy or loss of appetite, please contact your veterinarian and DO NOT bring them to public areas where other dogs could be exposed. 🏥

Date/Time: Friday, August 14th, and Saturday, August 15th, 2026
Location: Maybury Road, Solon

Animals Found: One female pig, one male goat, one female goat.

Identifying Information: No tags or identification found.

All three animals were captured and transported without injury.

🚨 Do You Recognize the Individual in This Video? 🚨

We’re asking for your help identifying the individual shown in the video. A substantial amount of cans and bottles was taken from our donation bins last night around 4:00 AM.

Most members of our community already know how important these donations are, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued generosity. But to anyone choosing to take from these bins: this is not extra money sitting around. You are taking directly from helpless animals who cannot speak or fend for themselves.

The money raised from these cans and bottles supports not only the animals in our care, but animals and families throughout our community. It helps provide food and medical care, assists owners who cannot afford spay/neuter services or vaccinations, and helps us care for animals when their owners have no other option but to surrender them. Every bag taken means fewer resources available for vulnerable animals and the people doing everything they can to care for them.

If you recognize the individual in the video or have any information that could help identify them, please contact the HLE Department at 607-753-9386 (Prompt #1).

Please share this post so it reaches as many people as possible. These animals cannot ask for justice themselves, so we must speak up for them. ❤️🐾
