自去年九月起，当我开始陪伴他们准备基督徒入门圣事时，我便有幸参与了他们的生命旅程。今天，当我亲眼见证他们藉着洗礼的圣水成为天主的子女，藉着坚振圣事领受圣神的恩赐，并在感恩祭中领受我们主耶稣基督的圣体圣血——真实地包含祂的体、血、灵魂与天主性——我的内心充满了喜乐与感恩。
这只是他们与基督同行旅程的开始。也恳请大家与我一同为他们祈祷，并为路易斯安那州拉斐特教区新成立的华人天主教团体祈祷。God's choicest blessings to our new Catholics: Susan (Ya Na), Kayla (Priscilla) and Bruce (Aquila). In September, I became a part of their lives when I started preparing them for the Sacraments of Initiation. Today, my heart is overflowing as I watch them become children of God through the waters of Baptism, receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit through Confirmation and receive the gift of eternal by partaking in the Eucharist: body, blood soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is just the beginning of their journey with Christ. Please join me in praying for them and for the new Chinese Catholic community in the diocese of Lafayette Louisiana.
