We had a wonderful turnout for 4th Degree Fallout at this year’s Confirmation Mass on Saturday, May 30, 2026 with our new bishop, Bishop Mario Aviles!

“It was an honor to join in the ceremony and see brother Tom’s Amazing career. Sense of sadness in the air, but it was great to see how his entire family was honored even down to the very last new baby. Tom and his family captures the essence of a Catholic family. The size, strength and devotion of Tom, Beatrice and the children give me great optimism for our country and our Catholic faith. I will be sad to see them go to Nebraska, but I know it’s the next chapter of their wonderful life. people that surround them in Nebraska will have a great opportunity to see all that we have seen and felt by this family. I hope he comes back and helps us with the fish frys if not, we’ll see him on vacation. He mentioned to me that he has trailer hook ups just FYI guys. I’m sure here will require tractor work bailing hay, and the like. So long, Brother, Tom, Fairwinds, and calm seas.”

🌟 20 YEAR CHARITY GOAL AWARD🌟

✨ 2026 marks 20 years of outstanding service to the parish of St. Andrew by the Sea and the greater North Padre Island community by our council!. In honor of this, we were recognized at the KofC Texas State Convention recently held in Dallas with the 20 year Charity Goal Award!

This award is a tribute to our Charity contributions on the part of present, past, and deceased Knights. We are honored to receive this prestigious award.

Thank you to all the Brother Knights of our council who have served our community these past two decades and continue to serve to this day!👏

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bishop Emeritus René Henry Gracida. He served as the fifth Bishop of the Diocese of Corpus Christi from 1983 until 1997. We are deeply grateful for his faithful service as our shepherd of 14 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
