Today we honor and celebrate all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who lead with love, strength, sacrifice, and faith.

A father’s influence extends far beyond providing for a family—it is found in the wisdom shared, the lessons taught, the prayers offered, and the example set each day. Your dedication helps shape stronger families, stronger communities, and brighter futures.

We especially recognize the fathers who continue to persevere through challenges, those who are rebuilding relationships, and those who faithfully serve their families and communities with humility and courage.

As we celebrate today, may we remember the example of our Heavenly Father, whose love, grace, and guidance never fail.

A Note from GMOVP

We know you don’t hear from us often—and that’s intentional.

Our team is small, and the same hands that write these posts are the hands serving our unsheltered brothers and sisters each week. With limited staffing, we often have to choose between posting online or being physically present for those who need us most. We will always choose to serve first.

We also never want our page to feel like a constant request for donations. When we do share, it’s because we want you to see the impact your support makes possible.

Thank you for understanding that our silence is not absence—it is service.

Every meal served.
Every prayer lifted.
Every hygiene kit distributed.
Every conversation filled with compassion.

GMOVP is truly grateful for every share, prayer, word of encouragement, act of support, and love shown to this ministry. So many people may look at what we do and assume there is a large team behind it all, but in reality, it is just a few of us believing wholeheartedly that “we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” 🙏

Every meal kit prepared, every outreach completed, every life encouraged, and every step toward helping people grow from homelessness to wholeness happens because God continues to provide strength, provision, and people willing to say yes to His calling.

Today, my prayer is for the person reading this who has felt God tugging at their heart to get involved. Maybe you have thought:“They probably already have enough help.”“I wouldn’t know how to help.”“I wish I had the heart to do something like that.”

This is your confirmation that you CAN help, we DO need more people, and God HAS given you a heart to serve.

We need more hands and feet willing to step out in faith and trust where God leads them. There are so many ways to help support this vision:

• Administrative support
• Meal kit preparation and distribution
• Fundraising support
• Funder and donor connections
• Outreach support
• Prayer support
• And so much more
