NCL Comal Volunteers at Kinetic Kids, Inc. San Antonio summer expo got to meet the San Antonio Spurs mascot Coyote today. It was a great opportunity to serve the greater San Antonio chapter and meet a lot of wonderful families.

Volunteering at the BIG Love Cancer Care Holiday Shoppe was a success. Fifty families were able to shop for gifts for their children during the event, while volunteers helped replenish items, wrap the gifts and spread cheer. Thank you to everyone who donated items for teens, they were very appreciated.

Ticktockers and Patronesses volunteered at the Fisher House Foundation of San Antonio on November 24th, hosting a Taco Night. The Fisher House provides essential resources and assistance to military and veteran families while their loved ones receive care at nearby VA and military hospitals.

We spent Saturday morning at the New Braunfels cemetery volunteering with Wreaths Across America. The ceremony honors fallen veterans by placing live wreaths on their graves at Arlington National Cemetery and other locations nationwide, embodying their mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach. We spent time at each grave, saying their names and thanking them for their service. It was an honor to participate.

Thank you so much to the Patronesses for donating gifts for teens to BIG Love Cancer Care. These gifts will be available at the Christmas Shoppe next weekend. Parents and caregivers from childhood cancer families can shop and select gifts—at absolutely no cost—for all of their children, patients and siblings alike.

What a fantastic time we had at our November Friendsgiving meeting! 🎉

This year, our NCL chapter swapped the traditional potluck for some intense tile action! We hosted a wonderful Mahjong Lesson, and it was the perfect way to spend time with our amazing NCL sisters, share some holiday cheer, and learn a fun, new skill.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, especially 4 Blonds Mahjong, who tought our group the mahjong basics We saw some incredible strategy and a lot of laughs. It was a memorable way to kick off the holiday season together.

Thanks so much to Erin with Callara House Ceremonial Soundworks, who came out to our October patroness meeting to share her personal cancer journey and discuss her healing through sound therapy. We were treated to sound meditation and relaxation.

Looking forward to our Friendsgiving patroness meeting this weekend.
