Phillip is a high school social studies teacher during the day. He has been acting for nearly 20 years and was most recently seen as the Escapologist in Matilda. He loves to help others hone their craft, especially the next generation of actors.

๐— ๐˜†๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€ is teaching Musical Theatre Dance (8-11), Musical Theatre Dance Beg/Int (12-18), Dance Call Audition Prep, and Hip Hop Broadway this semester!

Myles is so happy to be back teaching dance at Wonder! They are trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, some Tap and Ballet, and of course Musical Theatre. Myles has been a part of the Wonder teachers for four years, teaching ages 7-18, and has loved every minute of it. Theyโ€™ve also had the privilege of choreographing shows, both Academy and Mainstage, as well as being a dance captain for a host of shows. Learning multiple show tracks and different styles of dance are so fun(damental) for theatre!

๐—ž๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜‡ is your Teen Troupe Music Director this semester!

He currently serves as an Assistant Director of Fine Arts for Northside ISD, where he provides leadership and support for over 60 elementary music specialists and 27 secondary choral directors across 116 campuses. In this role, Keith has focused on expanding choral music access by collaborating with principals and community stakeholders to implement choir clubs at campuses without choir programs. Additionally, he has been instrumental in procuring funding to connect Northside choir programs with local collegiate choir directors for high-level clinics and mentorship, bridging the gap between secondary and higher education.

Musical theatre education transforms lives, and thanks to ๐—ฉ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ผ and the ๐Ÿด๐Ÿฌ/๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ ๐—™๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป, over 20 students received scholarships to experience that wonder firsthand this summer! From discovering the joy of our themed programming in our summer camps to bringing Matilda JR. to life on stage, these youth found their voice and community.

Wonder Theatre was thrilled to experience the Tony Walton Designer of Dreams Exhibit at the McNay Art Museum! Members of the ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜บ ๐˜—๐˜ฐ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด production team and cast, along with some of our wonderful donors, were delighted to step into the creative world of this legendary designer.

Tony Walton originally designed the costumes for the beloved ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜บ ๐˜—๐˜ฐ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด film, and seeing his work up close was truly inspiring.

We canโ€™t wait to bring our own production of ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜บ ๐˜—๐˜ฐ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด to life and step into that magical world this holiday season!
