The Church at 242 We are the Church at 242 located in Conroe, TX. We are a church Rooted in Scripture, Growing in faith, and Connected in love.

The Church @ 242 is a twentytwo-year-old church family that is unashamedly Southern Baptist. When the church was established 1994, we ministered in a small area of our community on Needham Road. Today Needham Road has grown into the major east-west thoroughfare in Montgomery County—State Highway 242. God has placed us in the center of one of the fastest developing areas in the county. Our vision i

s to become the place in this community where people can come to find help, hope, a hand of support and love. We are dedicated to the families of our community and desire to center all we do to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors. The church is in the fifth year of enjoying a new worship center / educational building and recently added 4 additional classrooms. The center piece of all we do is God’s Word. We provide all types of ministries and services to accomplish these goals. Since 2001 the church has been instrumental in planting 11 new churches or ministry outreaches.
