💙 Sharing is Caring! 💙

On October 24, MCSCAAA Alumni members were proud to come together and serve our community during the Sharing is Caring event.

From sorting and organizing food to lending helping hands wherever needed, our members showed what community service is all about — working together, giving back, and caring for our neighbors.

We are grateful for every volunteer who gave their time and energy to make the day a success. When a community comes together with a heart for service, amazing things can happen!

Early registration for The 2027 Texas CPAAA and law-enforcement annual training convention yielded 59 entries eligible for one complementary registration and one complementary night at Margaritaville.

In order to attend the convention, one must be a member of law-enforcement or a graduate of a citizens police Academy in the state of Texas

For our followers if you are interested, there are two classes annually for the citizens Academy. The next one will be in the spring of 2027. And if you do attend the classes and graduate, you can join the Montgomery County Sheriff citizens Academy alumni Association and U2 will be eligible to attend the convention. It will be held June 6 through the ninth of 2027 at Margaritaville in Conroe.

Thanks to a suggestion from member Myra Womack members of the Montgomery County Sheriff citizens Academy alumni Association gathered on Friday night for a special evening of fellowship. We often come together to volunteer and support law-enforcement but those activities leave little time to socialize. It was wonderful to relax chat and get to know our fellow members better President Pat Shannon and others made the evening even more fun by leading Halloween trivia, and the laughter filling the room showed what I hit it was we hope to do this again soon so nice to simply spend time together.
