Would you consider picking up an extra bottle of shampoo, conditioner, or lotion the next time you're at the store?

Every time a child enters a new foster care placement, they face a lot of uncertainty.
Welcome Home Bags are delivered to foster youth within 48 hours of a new placement and contain essential items to help them settle into their new environment with dignity and comfort.

Right now, we are in urgent need of:

🧴 Lotion

June is National PTSD Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and support those living with the effects of trauma.

The statistics are daunting. Many of the children and families we serve have experienced significant adversity and loss. At Love Heals Youth, we are committed to showing up consistently, offering hope, and creating spaces where healing can begin.

Thank you to our supporters, volunteers, donors, and community partners. Because of you, foster youth and families impacted by the system know they are not alone. Thank you for standing with them and investing in their future.

Our faithful volunteers gather each week to sort clothing and prepare our Mobile Clothes Closet for shopping experiences and clothing distributions. This month, our Closet will be traveling to multiple events, and we couldn't be more excited!

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers who spent their morning organizing clothing racks and preparing for our youth to shop. There’s something special about receiving a new outfit, and our teens absolutely love getting to choose clothes that help them feel confident and valued.

More than clothing, this ministry is about restoring dignity, offering hope, and reminding young people that they are seen, loved, and worthy. We are so grateful for the hands and hearts that make this mission possible. ❤️

Our next Prayer Gathering will be Friday, June 26! Please add this to your calendars and come out to Terramont Park to lift up the prayer requests of Foster Youth in our community. Many of these requests are deep and heavy, and nothing is too hard for our God!

A huge thank you to Gordon Reed Elementary for generously donating to our Clothes Closet! We are so grateful!

A special thank you to Counselor Ashley for so kindly coordinating everything and for always remembering the children we serve. Your compassion and dedication make such a difference.
