In 2021 Artists in Arms was founded with the goal to provide community and opportunity to Veterans with an interest in the arts. Established artists and those just beginning to explore their creative sides are equally welcomed and encouraged to participate in the various programs offered by Artists in Arms. ms is dedicated to creating a space for those who served our country to be creative, find much-needed camaraderie, and serve their community through the arts. Together we are changing assumptions about who can be an artist, and what a Veteran looks like. As a Veteran-run organization, we understand the unique challenges that Veterans face as they transition back into civilian life and we know that those who choose to pursue the arts have additional roadblocks to success. Artists in Arms is here to help creative Veterans navigate those obstacles and provide a community for them to lean on.
