📣 IRONS BAND BOOSTER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE HERE! 🦅🎶

The 2026–2027 band season is underway, and we’d LOVE to have our Irons Band families join us behind the scenes! 💙 Being a band parent is already a full-time job 😉, but volunteering is a wonderful way to support our students, meet other band families, and be part of all the fun happening throughout the year!

✨ Ready to lend a hand? We have upcoming volunteer opportunities available, and there’s a spot for everyone!

🎺 MEET OUR IRONS BAND BOOSTER TEAM MEMBERS! 🦅💙

Today, we’re excited to introduce another fabulous member of our Irons Band Booster family! Say hello to Sarah!

She serves as our VP of Fundraising and is one busy mama! When she’s not helping support the Irons Band, you can usually find her running the RV park or keeping up with her daughter and all of her activities. 🏃‍♀️💨

🌮 Her Favorite Food is Mexican food and honestly, we can’t blame her! 😋

🎼 Ensemble: Concert I

When we asked about hobbies, her response was basically… “Hobbies…what are those?” 😂😂 And honestly, we think a lot of parents can relate!

When they do get some downtime, they love going to concerts, especially traveling to them! 🎤🎶✈️ There’s nothing quite like making memories, seeing live music, and turning a concert into an adventure!

We’re so thankful to have her on our Booster team and appreciate everything she does to support Savannah, our band students, and the Irons Band Hawks! 🦅💙

Amber is a proud band mom whose kiddo plays clarinet 🎶🎵, and we’re so happy to have her as part of our Hawk family!

🌮 Favorite Food: Fajitas! (Honestly, you can’t go wrong there! 😋🔥)

🔨 Fun Fact: Amber REALLY enjoys building stuff! Whether it’s putting something together, creating something new, or tackling a project, she’s all about making things happen! 🛠️✨

Today we’re excited to introduce another amazing member of our Irons Band Booster family! 💙🦅

Meet Elaine McCulloch, proud band mom to TWO Irons Hawks! 🦅🎶

🎵 Sophia – 8th grade, Flute, Concert II Band
🎵 Thomas – 7th grade, Tuba, Concert I Band

When Elaine isn’t cheering on her band kiddos, you can probably find her enjoying two of life’s greatest treasures: food truck tacos 🌮 and cheesecake 🍰!

A fun fact about her that we can definitely get behind is…
Elaine bakes when she’s stressed. So basically… she bakes A LOT! 🧁🍪🤣 Thankfully, she shares most of her creations, so we’re pretty sure the Booster family is going to be just fine with this coping strategy! Band Booster Approved ✔

Elaine also proudly considers herself an “arts & crafts queen” 👑🎨✂️ and stays busy serving as the VP of Events & Hospitality for our Irons PTO!

We are so thankful to have Elaine bringing her creativity, energy, and love for our students to the Irons Band Booster family! 💙

🎶 MEET YOUR IRONS BAND BOOSTER TEAM MEMBERS! 🥁🎺💙

Today, we’re excited to introduce you to LaTrayvia Jenkins! 👋✨

LaTrayvia is a proud band mom and an excited new member of the Irons Band Booster Board! Her son is a percussionist, so she knows firsthand the dedication, hard work, teamwork, and of course the FUN that comes with being part of an incredible band program! 🥁🔥

When she’s not cheering on our musicians, you can find LaTrayvia doing one of her favorite things… FOODIE ADVENTURES! 🍽️😋 She loves exploring new restaurants, trying different cuisines, and discovering delicious new favorites. But above all, her favorite way to spend her time is making memories and enjoying life with her family. ❤️

We are SO excited to have LaTrayvia joining our Booster family! We know she’ll bring plenty of enthusiasm, support, and positive energy as we work together to make this an amazing year for our Irons Band students! 🎶🙌

Today, we’re excited to introduce you to another wonderful member of our Irons Junior High Band Booster family! 🎉

Say hello to Lindsay! 👋

Lindsay is thrilled to be part of the Irons Band Booster family this year and is proudly joining us as a band mom to a Symphonic Band clarinet player! 🎵🎶

A few fun facts about Lindsay:

🌶️ Her favorite food is authentic, spicy Mexican food; The spicier, the better! 🔥
💃 When she’s not juggling all the things as a dance mom and band mom, you’ll probably find her relaxing with a good book. 📚
✍️ She also loves to de-stress through one of her favorite talents, writing.

We’re so excited to have Lindsay as part of our booster family helping us support, encourage, and cheer on our amazing Irons Hawks musicians and share their adventures with you on our social media pages! 🦅🎶💙

🎺 MEET OUR IRONS BAND BOOSTER MEMBERS! 🦅

Today, we’re excited to introduce Nicole Terrazas, our Booster Club Secretary! 💙

Nicole is the proud mom of Dominic, an 8th grader and trumpet player in the Wind Ensemble. 🎺 We’re so excited to have Nicole as part of our Irons Band Booster family and appreciate all the time and energy she pours into supporting our students!

🌮 Favorite Food: Mexican food, of course! Although, Nicole is pretty much a fan of anything delicious! 😂

✨ Fun Fact: Nicole is always on the go! Between her kids, school activities, and working full-time away from school, she definitely knows how to stay busy. You’ll probably see her around school activities quite a bit because supporting her kids is where she loves to be!

And if you know “Mr. T” from Suchma Elementary, then you may already know Nicole… because she’s his other half! 😉

🎺✨ MEET THE AMAZING TEAM BEHIND THE MUSIC AT IRONS JUNIOR HIGH! ✨🎶

The wait is over… it’s time to officially introduce the incredible directors who will be leading our Irons Junior High Band students to new heights this year! 🙌

This weekend marked a special milestone, the first official Irons Band staff photo at the Region Meeting! 📸 We couldn’t be more excited to have this talented team guiding, inspiring, and creating unforgettable musical moments with our students.

🎼 Meet Mrs. Hoisager — The Band Legend!
🎵 Instrument: Flute
⭐ Experience: 29 years of teaching music!
🌮 Favorite Food: Anything Tex Mex
😂 Fun Fact: She has never mowed a lawn in her entire life!

🎼 Meet Mr. Esparza — The Clarinet Master!
🎵 Instrument: Clarinet
⭐ Experience: 3 years of teaching
🌯 Favorite Food: Flautas
👟 Fun Fact: He collects shoes… and sometimes he actually wears them! 😉

🎼 Meet Mr. Delaune — The Percussion Powerhouse!
🥁 Instrument: Percussion
⭐ Experience: 1 year of teaching
🍝 Favorite Food: Chicken Parmesan
🌍 Fun Fact: He traveled to Europe this summer!

Look at those smiles! Our latest Band Booster purchase was new racks to properly hang and organize our concert uniforms. No more uniforms piled on lockers!

In just TWO short years, the Irons Band Booster, with the support of our amazing , has helped:

• Fund 15+ master classes
• Provide meals and snacks during auditions and events
• Purchase uniform racks
• Host 2 EPIC Band Bash events
• Help cover chaperone trip tickets
• Help provide volunteers and chaperones for trips, performances, fittings, band photos, and more
• Supporting the overall growth and success of the Irons Band program in so many ways

The Irons Band Booster has become such an important part of the band program, and we need YOU to help keep it going for the 2026 to 2027 school year!

We are currently looking for:
• VP of Fundraising
• Volunteer Coordinator

The first step is filling out the 2026 - 2027 Band Booster Interest Form. Every bit of support helps make a difference for our students and program.
