Join us on Oct. 20th to pour into the next generation workforce!

The future of our workforce starts here!

The Youth to Career Fair, hosted by the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce and presented by Rave Financial Credit Union, is bringing thousands of students face-to-face with local businesses and the career opportunities available right here in our community.

From STEM and health sciences to construction, manufacturing, hospitality, agriculture, law, public service, arts and communications, students will explore a wide range of career paths through hands-on experiences, interactive demonstrations and real-world activities.

It’s more than a career fair, it’s an opportunity to spark curiosity, inspire the next generation and help students see what their future could look like right here at home.

A little practice today can make a big difference tomorrow! Thank you to Leadership Montgomery County - Texas (LMC) for partnership and sponsorship during the October Next Generation Leadership session focused on career development! We also offer a shout out to the Lone Star Family Health Center team for hosting!

Students put their interviewing skills to the test with LMC alumni and gained valuable insights during a Q&A panel with HR professionals. These experiences help students build confidence and feel more prepared to take their next steps into the workforce. We are incredibly grateful to all the amazing volunteers who invested their time and expertise in preparing the next generation of leaders! -with the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce

We offer a huge thanks to Dr. Matt Meredith from Rosen's Inc. for kicking off this semester’s Distinguished Speakers Series last week! Dr. Meredith shared how he turned his curiosity into a career in research. He also left students with some great advice for their own futures, including taking advantage of summer programs and internships and developing the communication skills needed to make technical ideas understandable to others.

We’re grateful to Dr. Meredith for giving students a glimpse into his career journey and encouraging them to stay curious about where their own interests might lead!
