Coming back from TRI this past weekend (with a Programming Award⚠️) we realize we never posted about Worlds!
To sum up our time at the FIRST World Championship & this past season, emotions were undoubtedly high, but oh did we have fun!
We competed with some of the best, met so many new and old friends among teams, sponsors, and organizations such as luke, Gene Haas Foundation, & FUN FRC, and while we didn’t end up part of an alliance at the end, we turned this competition into a joyous experience with incredible people! Our rebuilt robot, OVERFLOW, truly fought through the fuel (as our Certified Dumper™️ 🎾)
You may have even seen our globe fuel around! 🌎🏁
After turbulent district competitions, taking literally & climbing the ranks at the FIRST in Texas District Championship, having Leadership Award Finalists with our sister team Turbo Torque, and winning the Impact Award to take us to the World Championship; this season taught us a lot and we couldn’t have been more grateful for it all.
For Impact: We work hard each year to accomplish our mission in spreading STEAM and building the bridge to students of every background around the world. To be recognized for our impact at our competitions, and simply getting to present our efforts among fellow amazing teams at Worlds, is rewarding in itself. It all truly inspires us to continue our mission to make STEM accessible for all & bridge the gap. 🌉✨
Thank you to all the volunteers & everyone who work each of these intense competitions in FIRST, it wouldn’t be the exciting program it is without you behind the scenes.
