The Stewart Community Home provides 24/7 care and support designed around the needs of each resident.
From housing and meals to coordination with healthcare providers, case management, and individualized support, the goal is to help residents maintain dignity while building as much independence as possible.
Behind every resident is a team of people working every day to create stability, safety, and opportunity.

Our residents recently enjoyed a visit to the 15th Street Boutique — a special opportunity to browse, choose, and pick out items they love.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, residents were able to “shop” for donated clothing and personal items at no cost. But the 15th Street Boutique is about more than clothing — it’s about independence, personal choice, confidence, and the joy of finding something that feels just right.
Moments like these remind us that meeting needs is important, but creating opportunities for connection, dignity, and happiness is just as important.
Thank you to everyone who helps make experiences like the Boutique possible!

Special thanks to our longtime Board Member, Denise Fortson, and her husband, Dr. Bill Fortson, for opening up their home to us on Thursday, July 16th!
Denise and Dr. Fortson are massive supporters of the Stewart Community Home, and they truly made the day unforgettable for our residents. Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch of hot dogs, fresh fruit, and—the highlight of the day—a slice of Ms. Denise’s birthday cake!
We are so grateful for their incredible generosity, warm hospitality, and ongoing dedication to making our residents feel loved and celebrated.

What a great week we have had here at the Stewart Community Home! This past Thursday we held our Memorial Day Celebration. Jim is on the grill, the staff is all suited up and serving food and EVERYONE is having a great (mouthwatering) time! It all looks so delicious. We are so thankful for all those who have served our country and community and for the opportunity to serve our community and make memories with all the residents and staff of the SCH. We wish all of you a WONDERFUL Memorial Day weekend!
