What a great week we have had here at the Stewart Community Home! This past Thursday we held our Memorial Day Celebration. Jim is on the grill, the staff is all suited up and serving food and EVERYONE is having a great (mouthwatering) time! It all looks so delicious. We are so thankful for all those who have served our country and community and for the opportunity to serve our community and make memories with all the residents and staff of the SCH. We wish all of you a WONDERFUL Memorial Day weekend!

Visit our website!! From transitional support to long-term permanent care, our mission is to get vulnerable adults off the streets, help them get back on their feet, and provide a safe haven where they can realize their dignity.

We provide clean rooms, nutritious meals, medical stabilization, and life-skills programs to adults struggling with physical disabilities or mental illness—regardless of their ability to pay.

Coraleigh Sowell is the Staff Spotlight for May of 2026! She is our 2nd shift supervisor and has worked at the Stewart Community Home since 2019. She has worked across all 3 shifts both as floor help and in the med room. She ALWAYS gives 100% on the job!

We had a great time with our residents last week at our annual beach trip! We spent a few hours at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City, Florida. Our residents had a blast in the sun and surf. We thank all of our supporters whose help allows us to do things like this to improve the quality of life for all of our residents! We couldn't do it without you all!

We had a great time at the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament this week, May 7th at the Bull Creek Golf Course here in Columbus Georgia.
