When newborn Colter suddenly turned blue during a routine checkup, he was rushed to the Pediatric Emergency Department at Piedmont Columbus Midtown. After testing revealed bacterial meningitis, he was admitted to the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital and spent several weeks in the Pediatric ICU.
Throughout his treatment, Colter’s family found comfort in the expertise and compassion of the care team. They shared their appreciation for Dr. Andrew Stack and the nurses, respiratory therapists, and physicians who acted quickly to diagnose and treat Colter’s condition.
Today, Colter is thriving and quickly approaching his first birthday.
