Section E6 is offering 8 scholarships for youth Arrowmen to attend the OA High Adventure this summer! Each summer, the Order of the Arrow offers life changing high adventure opportunities to Arrowmen at each of the National High Adventure bases. During your OAHA experience, you will participate in cheerful service, meet Arrowmen from around the country, and design your own trek! OAHA is less expensive than a traditional trek with your unit, too. Go as an individual, or bring a friend on this amazing adventure! The deadline to submit applications is Sunday, January 4th!

We want YOU to run for a Lodge officer position!

The elections for 2025-2026 Lodge Officer positions will be held this weekend at Fall Fellowship. Any youth Arrowmen who are in good standing with the Lodge (have paid their annual dues) are eligible to run for Lodge office. Candidates must not turn 21 years of age before October of 2026. The Lodge Officer candidate form can be found at the link below, in our bio, or in the Lodge email sent on October 5th. This is also where you will find descriptions of the responsibilities of each Lodge Office position. It must be completed and given to our Lodge Adviser, Mr. Darian Krimm, by 8:30pm on Friday night of Fall Fellowship (October 17th). Alternatively, forms may be emailed to [email protected]. Forms must be signed and approved by the candidate’s Unit Leader. Candidates can choose to run for multiple positions, but will only be able to hold one officer position. An orientation meeting for officer candidates will be held on Saturday at Fall Fellowship. The election will be held during our annual Lodge Business Meeting on Sunday morning. Only youth Arrowmen are permitted to vote. If you have any further questions, please reply to the Lodge email from October 5th, or email the Lodge Adviser with another adult copied.

Each eligible Arrowman is encouraged to run. Though it may seem daunting, being a Lodge Officer is a fantastic leadership opportunity. Don’t be nervous to run; if you’re on the fence, just go for it! If you have any questions or concerns, please email the Lodge Adviser. Also, he and our 2024-2025 Lodge officers will happily speak with you on Friday night at Fall Fellowship!

Final call!

The deadline for Founder’s Award nominations is TODAY, September 30th. All Lodge members are strongly encouraged to nominate an Arrowman they feel is worthy. The award will be presented at the Lodge Banquet on December 6th.

Why should I submit a nomination?
Each Arrowman has a unique perspective! Anyone you deem worthy for this honor deserves to be considered for the award! Don’t assume an Arrowman has already been nominated; send your own submission! Plus, there is no limit to the number of nominations an Arrowman may receive or give. So start writing!

What is the Founder’s Award?
Introduced at the 1981 National Order of the Arrow Conference, the Founder’s Award recognizes Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to their lodge. The award is reserved for an Arrowmen who demonstrates that they personify the spirit of selfless service, as advocated by founder E. Urner Goodman and cofounder Carroll A. Edson.

Each Arrowman (or their parent) has received an email with submission instructions. This email includes the nomination form and a list of past award recipients from the Chattahoochee Lodge.
