LOOK AT GOD! 🙌❤️

Last Thursday, a lady we’ll call M walked into the Redeem Boutique and said, “I need some help.”

Just a few days before, M had been in our coffee shop and was told that Redeem Boutique was closed, but would reopen Thursday morning. She was invited to join a Bible study, which she did!

And she came back. ❤️

Thursday morning, M walked through the doors seeking the help she desperately needed. She shared that she had been living on the streets and using drugs for quite some time. She was tired. She was ready for something different. She wanted help.

At the boutique, she received prayer, clothing, hygiene supplies—and most importantly, she was reminded that Jesus had not forgotten her.

Cindy was able to take M to the Bradley Center, where she could detox and get back on her mental health medications. When we checked on her Sunday afternoon, M was still there and doing well! We were even able to take her some coloring books and a few things to encourage her while she was there. ❤️

But something powerful happened on the way to the Bradley Center. M told Cindy that she had drugs with her. **She throwed the drugs out the window! **

Cindy stopped, got out of the car, and stomped them into the ground—a physical picture of **crushing snakes! **We believe that was more than throwing drugs out of a window, It was a step toward saying, “I don't want this life anymore.”

We know the road ahead may not be easy. Detox is only the beginning. So we are asking you to please join us in praying for M.

🙏 Pray that she will continue in substance-abuse treatment.
🙏 Pray for her mental health and continued access to the help and medications she needs.
🙏 Pray for protection over her mind and life.
🙏 Pray that when she leaves the Bradley Center, she will have the strength and support to keep walking toward freedom.
🙏 And most of all, pray that M will encounter Jesus in a way that changes everything.

God is answering prayers for these ladies. Sometimes the answer looks like a woman walking through the doors of a little boutique saying, “I need help.”

And we want to be there when she does. This is why Redeem exists. ❤️

Please continue to pray, give, and support Redeem Ministry as we reach women right where they are—with love, compassion, prayer, and the hope of Jesus.

There is still hope.
There is still a way out.
There is still redemption.

We're excited to see so many "new ladies" coming into the boutique for clothes, hygiene items and especially prayer 🙏 Our scripture for the week is Psalm 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, verse 19 goes on to say that he delivered me because he delighted in me. Now that's Good News! Thank you all for your continued support and prayers for this ministry. We are believing for the Word of God to change hearts and lives.

James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Watching this verse come to life today as women show themselves as doers of the Word truly blessed REDEEM in a beautiful way. Thank you to everyone who came to the Redeem volunteer appreciation luncheon and thank you to the ladies of River of Life for coming to serve this past Saturday. Look at God!!

Today we celebrate the GRADUATION 🎓 of one of our beloved Highland ladies, Ms Kandy Heath 🎉🙏🫶💐 To God be the glory! She persevered, she prayed, she stayed! 😁 We're so very excited for her future!
John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed 🙌 Please continue to cover her in prayer and God bless those who sent her mail, encouragement, and financial blessings over the past year. Kandy will come home for a short visit then return to Birmingham as she has been offered a position at the Lovelady Thrift! HELL LOST ANOTHER ONE, SHE IS FREE! 🙌🙌🙌🙌

This week, we have been blessed to experience the powerful presence of God at REDEEM. Many ladies have arrived from the streets, tired, hungry, and hurting. The prayers this week have been extraordinary. The ladies have been more honest about their struggles, and we have felt the presence of the Lord every day as we cry out to Him in faith. Thank you for supporting this ministry that serves ladies in their time of need. We are witnessing lives transformed and your prayers and support are such a huge part! Thank you!

Look at God! This week we got to see two of our ladies who were previously wheelchair bound WALKING and celebrating all God had done in the past year in their lives. 🫶 We give God all the glory for his bountiful provision for D and for his total healing for C. Please join us any Monday morning at 9 am in our Harvest prayer room as we faithfully cover these and many more prayer requests and continue to watch God move.
