The Mill District is bringing neighbors together for its upcoming Mill District Neighborhood Gathering.

Residents of Anderson Village, Bibb City, City Village, and North Highland are invited to join us as we share community updates, learn about exciting initiatives underway across the Mill District, and—most importantly—hear from you.

This gathering is an opportunity to meet your neighbors, share the ideas and priorities that matter to your community, and help shape what comes next for the Mill District. Whether you've lived in the neighborhood for generations or recently made the Mill District home, your voice matters and your neighborhood matters.

Together with the Greater Columbus Home Builders Association , they’re hosting an open house to honor the past and celebrate the future of this iconic building.

We are excited to officially announce The Mill District, Inc.’s 2nd Annual Community 5K Race, The Great Granny Gallop 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, at 8:00 AM in the Bibb City Mill District- Bibb Event Center Parking Lot.

This year’s event promises to be an exciting morning of community, fitness, fun, and celebration as we invite participants to Dress Like a Granny, Race for a Cause, and Build a Stronger Community.

Our first Parent University session was a great success! We appreciate the families that attended and engaged with the information and resources that were provided throughout the session. The Mill District is very excited about it's partnership with United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley and the opportunity to work together on this new initiative!

We would like to express our gratitude to WTVM News Leader 9 and Growing Room Child Development Centers for being involved in this experience as well. The next session will be on November 18th.

We’re excited to launch Parent University, a new initiative within our Education and Neighborhood Engagement strategy focused on connecting parents and families with practical tools, trusted resources, and community partners that help strengthen families and support children.
