We wrapped up our annual pop tab contest this past Friday, and what an amazing effort from everyone involved!

To keep things fair, schools were grouped by student enrollment. So this year, we have two first-place winners.

Since 2025, Haleigh has been volunteering at the Family House alongside her grandmother Sherry, helping prepare delicious meals for our families each month. 💛

Over the past few months, Haleigh has taken the lead in planning the meal of the night and even hand-making the desserts! Her dedication, leadership, and heart for serving others truly make a difference for the families we support.

Thankful Thursday @ The Family House🍁🏠

This week we are honoring Ms. Pegues. Her mother Mrs. Ruthie wrote “This House is God sent. Being close to the hospital was the best blessing of relief, comfort, food, and home away from home. My daughter was 60 years old. Spent 7 days in the hospital and passed on the 12th of November. I am so blessed and thankful to have such a lovely place to stay and be taken care of.”

It’s the safest place to be and relieved us from the biggest pain of taking care of the food and accommodations to be close to our loved one fighting for her life.
