Tonight, the Short North arches are lighting up blue, red, and yellow for team Guatemala!

Columbus Welcomes Ecuador as they host their Base Camp here during the FIFA Men's World Cup. They'll train at the OhioHealth Performance Center and host a friendly vs. Guatemala at Scotts Miracle-Gro Field on June 7.

☎️ answer the call of creation + learn about the Short North’s newest public art projects!

The event will begin with a community gathering at 4 pm, followed by a panel discussion on how both sanctioned and unsanctioned public art works call us to engage in our communities that will be moderated by GCAC President and CEO Mitch Menchaca and feature public artists from the Short North from approximately 4-7 pm, with time for continued engagement and a public dedication of “She Moves with Color” afterward.

Have you seen her for yourself yet? A new and striking public art work is gracing the Short North Arts District. Located at 800 N High Street, “She Moves with Color” was completed in late April by local artist .birdy as a reimagination of our neighborhood’s iconic “Mona Lisa” mural.

Getting to watch this version of the Mona Lisa come to life was thrilling, and seeing it live is striking. Make it part of your long weekend plans!

A dedication of the work will be held this summer, more details coming soon.
