FLOW is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the Olentangy River and its tributaries clean and safe for all to enjoy, through education, volunteer activities, and coordination with local decision makers. FLOW is known for promoting the use of rain barrels through rain barrel seminars, service events like litter clean-up and invasive species removals, tree planting, butterfly gardens and free public meetings to share information about good things happening in our community.

Thanks to a grant from the Little Garden Club of Columbus, FLOW was able to install a shade native garden and a sunny pollinator garden at Pets without Parents. The garden will be looking amazing next year for sure since some of the plants were already flowering!! The rain today and the newspaper and mulch should keep this garden looking healthy!!!

This past Sunday, Oct 4, we held our inaugural Stormwater Run-off 5K & Family Fun Run at Liberty Park. Acting as both a fundraiser for us, and a way to bring attention to Stormwater Awareness Week in Ohio, it was a huge success thanks to our many runners (87!), volunteers, sponsors, and luckily, great weather. We hope to make this an annual tradition!

Our top 3 men and women finishers received handmade medals fashioned from invasive honeysuckle, and all participants received a race t-shirt and goodie bag made possible by our sponsors. One of our board members also took a group on a tour of the park's many stormwater features.

FLOW and Columbus Water & Power are excited for the public unveiling of artist Dane Khy's "Flow Together" mural! Come meet the artist, snap some photos and be apart of this colorful moment in our city’s story. 🎉

NOTE: THE IS NO PARKING AT THE MURAL LOCATION! PLEASE PARK ON MICHIGAN AVE AND WALK THROUGH THE PARKING LOT TO THE RAIL TRAIL AND FOLLOW IT SOUTH TO THE PUMP STATION.
