Nurses play a critical role in shaping policies that impact both healthcare professionals and the patients they serve.

GEDSA is pleased to share a recent update from the American Nurses Association highlighting ANA Hill Day 2026, where more than 500 nurses from across the country came together on Capitol Hill to advocate for key healthcare priorities.

Topics included improving patient access to care, strengthening the nursing workforce, protecting nurses from workplace violence, and supporting nursing education.

We appreciate the continued leadership of nurses in advancing safer, stronger healthcare systems and ensuring the voices of frontline healthcare professionals are represented in important policy discussions.
