For Dalton's first week, he first made a stop in Chichaoua to visit the Center for Qualification and Integration of People with Specific Needs who provide services for more than 200 teenagers on a daily basis. We were able to meet this great center with thanks to our partnership with Mr. Hassan Arghass of Association Chams Tensift Pour La Sante Mentale and RC's Program Manager, Abderrahmane Ait Lqous.

Later in the day, he made a trip to Essaouira to meet with the Ibtissama Center, where he gave three workshops to the Center's staff, youth, and nurses from the local medical school.

In the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Morocco, Resilient Communities took swift action by donating another four tents to support the residents of Douar El Melt in the Assaki commune, located in the province of Taroudant. This compassionate effort was made possible through a combination of generous contributions from both private individuals and public sources.

Resilient Communities remains committed to aiding these underserved areas and continues to raise funds for temporary housing.

With the assistance of the Cress association( جمعية الرشاد ), along with contributions from both private individuals and the public, Resilient Communities has successfully secured funding for the purchase of eight tents to provide shelter for those significantly impacted by the recent earthquake.
These tents now provide shelter for the families of Murgh village in the Ait Makhlouf commune, located in the Taroudant region.
While many villages have received substantial assistance, some smaller communities still require additional support.

Resilient Communities remains committed to aiding these underserved areas and continues to raise funds for temporary housing.

The American Academy Casablanca (AAC) is on the move, joining forces with Resilient Communities' Abderrahmane Ait Lous and a dedicated team of volunteers. Together, they are on a mission to distribute essential supplies to communities in need.

Their journey begins in Moulay Brahim, where much-needed supplies will be delivered. From there, their path leads to Ighile, the area closest to the earthquake's epicenter, and beyond to other villages in the Talat region, provided there are sufficient supplies available.

To ensure effective distribution, American Academy Casablanca and Resilient Communities are working closely with local associations and authorities, collaborating to provide vital resources such as medication, food, shelter, and more to those who need it most.

Morocco has experienced a second earthquake in the Atlas Mountains, near Talat N'Yaaqoub which is close to Marrakesh. This earthquake had a magnitude of 4.6. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported, but there has been significant damage, including collapsed buildings.

Given that the Atlas Mountains region has colder weather compared to other cities, the residents urgently require adequate shelter, food, and additional support. We are calling upon everyone to join hands in this effort by contributing items such as clothing, food, and more. By raising additional funds, we aim to bring smiles back to the faces of the affected people in this region.
