🌾 THE HARVEST MAY APPEAR SUDDENLY, BUT IT HAPPENS GRADUALLY!

We live in a world that wants overnight success, overnight blessings, and overnight breakthroughs. But the truth is, what looks like it happened overnight was probably growing for a long time!

Before the harvest, there was a seed. Before the increase, there was a season of waiting. And before the manifestation, there was a process!

Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean God isn’t growing it!

Don’t confuse the moment you SEE it with the moment God STARTED it! 🙌🏾

🌾 It’s Harvest Time at Antioch Jordan!

🌾 THE HARVEST DIDN’T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT!

Everybody wants to enjoy the harvest, but not everybody understands what it takes to get there!

Whether it’s your marriage, your family, your faith, or your purpose, what you see today was built through what you had to endure yesterday!

Don’t get so focused on the harvest that you forget the work it took to get there.

🔥 DON’T GET TIRED IN THE FIELD!

💜💙 TWO LEGACIES. ONE FUTURE. ANTIOCH JORDAN.

During Clergy Appreciation Month, we pause to honor two visionary leaders whose faith, leadership, and commitment to the Kingdom helped lay the foundation for what we know today as Antioch Jordan Baptist Church.

The Late Rev. Wayne T. Lee, Jr. and The Late Rev. James Frazier.

These two men understood something powerful: The work of the Kingdom is bigger than any one person, any one church, or any one generation.

Through their vision and willingness to see beyond what was, they helped set in motion the merger of Jordan Bible Church and Antioch Baptist Church.

What began as two separate ministries, with two distinct histories, became one united future.

Today, we don’t just celebrate their names. We honor their sacrifices, their service, and the seeds they planted that we are still watching grow.

They may no longer be with us physically, but their legacy lives on in every life touched, every soul saved, and every step we take together.

Two churches. Two histories. Two legacies. ONE FUTURE.

Because of their vision, we are BETTER TOGETHER! 🙌🏾

PASTOR NEWMAN’S MONDAY MOTIVATION

WORD OF THE WEEK: EXPECTATION

Let me ask you something: When was the last time you actually expected something good to happen?

Sometimes life will hit you with so many disappointments that you stop expecting anything different. You still pray, but you don’t really expect an answer. You still show up, but you’ve stopped believing things can change.

And without even realizing it, you’ve allowed yesterday’s disappointments to become tomorrow’s expectations. But here’s your reminder this week: Don’t allow what didn’t happen to make you lose faith in what God can still do!

📖 Psalm 62:5 (KJV) “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”

Notice David didn’t place his expectation in people, circumstances, or even his own ability. His expectation was in GOD!

That means even when things aren’t moving the way you planned, you can still trust that God is working according to His purpose.

This week, I want to challenge you to change your posture.

👉🏿 Pray with expectation.
👉🏿 Work with expectation.
👉🏿 Walk with expectation.
👉🏿 Prepare with expectation.
👉🏿 Worship with expectation.

Not because everything is guaranteed to happen the way you want, but because you know the God you serve is faithful.

Stop waking up expecting another problem. Start waking up believing that God can give you the wisdom, strength, and opportunity to face whatever comes your way.

And remember, expectation isn’t pretending everything is perfect. It’s believing God is still at work even when everything isn’t.

So go into this week with your head up, your faith strong, and your expectation rooted in God.

EXPECT GREAT THINGS. PREPARE FOR GREAT THINGS. AND KEEP TRUSTING GOD THROUGH ALL THINGS!
