Community Response Hub supports efforts to defend communities at risk of deportati

on and detention in Central Ohio. The Hub does this through advocacy and mobilizing ally organizations and community members. In the spirit of working in coalition, the Hub coordinates diverse groups, working across different communities and issues, and uses diverse methods. Our mission includes holding decision makers accountable, including government and enforcement agencies. We are seeking two groups of people to participate in the Community Response Hub. Firstly, community leaders and organizations with potential to mobilize communities. Secondly, we would like to bring interested individuals into connection to ongoing efforts in Central Ohio. The Hub is independent of any organization but actively partners with Central Ohio Rapid Response Network and Ohio Immigrant Alliance. Cities use Flock cameras to photograph the rear of passing vehicles, ostensibly for public safety purposes. Growing fear that these cameras will be used to collect data for ICE or to track protesters has led cities to terminate their FLOCK contracts.

Columbus City Council needs to hear from residents that the Columbus FLOCK contract, which ends in May, should not be renewed. Take action: Write to Columbus City Councilmembers to ask them not to renew any contract with FLOCK.
