Next week, the NWSL Challenge Cup will take place in Columbus! As a way to celebrate inclusivity in sports, the NWSL and The Moth will be hosting "Proud and Loud," a special Pride Month storytelling event celebrating authenticity, community and inclusion.

Featured speakers include:
- Miranda Freedman, President, Athlete Ally Columbus
- Kika Toulouse, NWSL alumna and broadcaster
- Sinead Farrelly, NWSL alumna and Beyond the Field member (BTF)

We're just a couple months away from hosting the 2026 Gay Softball World Series right here in Columbus! We are proud to host this tournament for the fourth time from August 30 to September 5.

Since 2013, the city has scored 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index annually, which measures how inclusive municipal laws, policies and services are for LGBTQIA+ people who live, work and visit there. Columbus regularly makes annual lists for top q***r hotspots, best cities for food, art and young people and is home to dozens of LGBTQIA+ owned businesses.

Our 2026 GSWS Host Committee will strive to embrace and uphold these values throughout your week here. From our programming to our spaces, we’re working to create an experience with all of our community in mind where no one is left behind and everyone feels right at home, here in Columbus❤️

TONIGHT Columbus Crew defender Max Arfsten will rep the stars & stripes as he takes the World Cup stage with the U.S. Men's National Team 🇺🇸

USMNT will face off against Paraguay in their first match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. We're hanging out with the Crew at Bridge Park all night long to cheer on our guys during the Soccer Celebration of the summer!
