Since 2002, we've hosted 1,375+ sporting events, generating more than $1.8 billion in direct visitor spending. We were thrilled to host the first of four Build Your Circle events created in celebration of IgniteHER Columbus and the 2027 Women's Final Four! Earlier this week, community members gathered in the Huntington Club at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field to hear from a variety of industry leaders, including Mary Shepro, president of business operations for the Columbus Crew and NWSL Columbus 2028.

After the panel session, which featured Katie Foglia, Samantha Daugherty and Stephanie Cedeño from the Crew, attendees split up into breakout sessions. In each of these sessions, small groups discussed topics such as building your brand, stress management and more. Thank you to our breakout session leaders!

The Read to the Final Four will encourage third graders throughout Columbus to challenge their reading skills in the months leading up to 🏀 With a goal of completing 10 million total minutes read, students will compete with their schools and the top performing schools will be recognized during Women's Final Four event week!

🗣️ Registration for the 10th annual Community Cup is now OPEN! Save $250 by registering by December 31, 2026.

🏆 What is it?
Central Ohio organizations are divided into four divisions based on the size of their entire staff. Teams and athletes compete for points across 16 different sports. At the end of the day, the highest-scoring team in each division wins the Community Cup.

🏅What do I do when I'm not competing?
When they're not competing, athletes and supporters can hang out in the Tailgate Zone, interact with local companies in the Home Court or cheer on their colleagues.

🏆 What is the Tailgate Zone?
Tailgating at the Community Cup is one of the highlights of the event. The Tailgate Zone is open to all participants. Each team will receive a designated tailgate area prior to event day.

🏅 What is Home Court?
This is your chance to go hard in the paint. Get in the competitive spirit by setting up a fun, interactive booth that keeps people on the move and eyes on your organization. Reach more than 1,000 Columbus professionals.

2️⃣ In 2026, three current & former Ohio State women's hockey players and one current Columbus Blue Jackets player became Olympic Gold Medalists.

3️⃣ In 2022 & 2024, the Ohio State Women's Ice Hockey team won the national championship.

4️⃣ In 2015, Columbus hosted the NHL All-Star Game at Nationwide Arena.

5️⃣ In 2007, Columbus hosted the NHL Entry Draft at Nationwide Arena.

6️⃣ In 2005, Columbus hosted the NCAA Men's Frozen Four tournament.
