Comfest Bands

A group for performers at Comfest (the Community Festival) in Columbus, Ohio. Follow us to see announcements and life information at the festival.

In the spirit of being a community event, ComFest prides itself on giving local artists and entertainers an opportunity to share their craft with their community and support the purposes of the festival. The entertainment is almost exclusively provided by local artists and entertainers. The Entertainment Committee has criteria to guide band selection:

- Artists showing exemplary talent and creati

vity
- Diversity in the cultural style of the performance and the performers themselves
- Volunteer involvement in Comfest and/or the Columbus community

What are the origins of ComFest? (WOSU, 2022)

Depending on who you ask, you may get a different answer on how the idea for a community festival arose. But one thing we know for sure is that ComFest was born around a nexus of activity at the corner of 16th and Waldeck Avenue.

Thank you to all of our ComFest 2025 bands and performers! You each and all made this a special weekend with your inspired performances and musical volunteerism.

Many of your performances were recorded on video and/or audio. It will take several weeks to process all of these recordings, which will then be uploaded to the ComFest Videos YouTube channel, however please be patient. In the meantime, ComFest Videos on YouTube has hundreds of hours of performances from past festivals for your viewing enjoyment at https://www.youtube.com/c/comfestvideos .
