Harrison West Society The Harrison West Society is focused on improving quality of life in Harrison West.

The Harrison West Society was formed in 1977 to "preserve and improve the neighborhood of Harrison West" and to "broaden the appreciation of ethnic and social heritage with friendly contact." We continue today as a nonprofit civic association focused on improving quality of life in Harrison West. Some examples of our work include planting street trees, securing architectural improvements to the Third Avenue bridge, establishing four community parks, pushing for traffic calming measures, hosting potlucks and other social events including the Harrison West Jazz Stage, arranging improved alley and street lighting, organizing public art projects, and working to reduce crime.

Reminder!! the Short North Civic Association (SNCA) will be at the Zone In Gallery (141 North Front Street, Columbus, OH 43215) on Monday, October 19 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. It's a great opportunity for neighbors to come out to learn more about the initiative, what it means for the neighborhood, and provide feedback. SNCA has asked Harrison West to extend an invitation to our community to join them at the Zone In Gallery and they hope for a big turnout.

Great time was had at Music Monday - many thanks to our entertainer Andy Paczak, Harrison on 5th, and Harrison West Society. It was an excellent crowd. Kellie sang an amazing nine to five in tribute to Dolly Parton and it was a memorable finale. Join us for the next Music Monday when it returns to the Harrison Park gazebo on September 28th!
