💀🖤 DEAD SEXY: A Halloween Dance Workshop! 🖤💀

Mark your calendars! TranscenDance is hosting a fun, spooky, and sexy Halloween pop-up workshop on Tuesday, October 27!

Get ready for two hours of eerie, sexy Halloween-inspired dance! Throw on your favorite Halloween gear, dress in black and orange, or come dressed in whatever makes you feel a little wicked. 🕷️🔥

This community event is all about dancing, having fun, and getting into the Halloween spirit! All experience levels are welcome!

What a fun weekend of dancing! ✨

We loved getting to be part of two Amazing Giants events this weekend! Libby brought her energy to a polka performance, followed by Lexi and Hanna hitting the floor as go go dancers for another event.

We’re so grateful to Amazing Giants for bringing TranscenDance dancers along for these opportunities and giving us another way to do what we love. There’s something pretty great about getting to dance, bring energy and excitement to an event, and have a whole lot of fun while doing it.

Thanks for having us, Amazing Giants! We’re excited for more to come. ✨

Summer is in full swing, and with so many people traveling and enjoying a busy season, we will not be offering public community classes during the month of July.

Our classes are meant to add to your life, not create more stress or obligations, so we’re pressing pause for a few weeks and will be back soon.

We do have two community classes remaining this month:

• Saturday, June 20 at 12:30 PM
• Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 PM

If you’d like to get some movement in before our summer break, we’d love to see you there.

Private classes remain available year-round. Whether you’re looking for a small group experience, a private lesson, or a fun outing with friends, we’d be happy to create something that fits your group’s needs.

JUNE REGISTRATION IS OPEN ☀️

This month is all about conditioning the body for strength, mobility, stability, flexibility, and control. We’re taking a break from choreographed pieces in June and focusing fully on overall body work going into summer.

Strength & Length is designed to help your body move better and feel stronger while working toward things like:
✨ splits
✨ turns
✨ balance
✨ flexibility
✨ mobility
✨ strength and muscle definition
✨ body control and stability

No dance experience is required. You do not have to be a dancer to take this class.

There will be 4 Strength & Length opportunities this month:
• Two 75 minute formats
• Two 90 minute formats

The 75 minute classes focus heavily on strength, flexibility, mobility, and stability training.

The 90 minute classes allow us to go deeper into these components with more time for muscle engagement, mobility work, flexibility training, control, and body awareness so your body can begin memorizing and integrating the movement patterns more effectively.

The goal is simple:
to start activating muscles you didn’t even know you had and create a body that feels stronger, more capable, and more connected.

Classes are led by Hanna Hellmann, certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, yoga teacher, and longtime dance instructor, combining all of these backgrounds into one training experience.

Last night was Hip Hop Hype, and we danced to Alive by Lil Jon. It’s one of those songs you can’t help but move to, and the choreography made that energy come alive in the room. Honestly, dancing with these women in this community, that lyric hits… thank God I’m alive. That’s genuinely how it feels sometimes.

If you’ve been craving a space to move, let loose, and just enjoy yourself without pressure or judgment, this is exactly what we do. No militant energy. No perfection required. Just fun, confidence, and a room full of women showing up as they are.
