ComFest Volunteer Appreciation night at Hot Times Festival

Thank you to the many ComFest Volunteers who helped make this year's Community Festival possible! We invite you to join the Volunteer Thank You Night at the HOT TIMES COMMUNITY ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL on Friday September 11th.

Wear your ComFest 2026 volunteer T-shirt (strictly enforced to receive party favors) and check in at the ComFest table in the Hot Times volunteer tent from 5:00pm to 10:00pm for ComFest Bucks, good for food and beverages. A group photo will be taken on the steps of the Columbus Public Health building at 7:30pm, start assembling at 7:15pm.

The 2026 Hot Times Festival will be held outside the Columbus Health Department at 240 Parsons Ave. (the corner of Main St. and Parsons Ave.)

Heer to Serve was our Honored Community Organization for 2026 and one of our 2025 grant recipients. Please consider donating an item or two from their wishlist for members of our community in need.

Hey y'all,

We really need tents and tarps right now. Quite a few folks had their set ups absolutely destroyed by CPD yesterday and folks need shade and a barrier from the ticks, mosquitos, etc that are especially difficult right now.

Other ways you can help:

We always need food so if you're able to make a cold meal or purchase snacks we can hand out to folks that's always amazing. We also are happy to RESCUE unwanted food from your events, catering orders etc.
We can always use bottled waters, water jugs/bottles, gallons of water etc.
If you're cleaning out your closets, we can always use Camping shower bags that hang. ❤️ And any camping equipment.

Ways to help neighbors when you see them wherever:

Freeze cooling towels and hand them out
Freeze water bottles and hand them out.
Give out batteries for fans folks may have
Fruit has a lot of water in it so handing that out is heckin helpful too (thanks Julia Wagner ❤️)
Give out bus passes or change if able.
Give rides if you feel comfortable so folks are walking less in the heat.
Check in on folks, especially if they're laying in the sun with a lot of layers on. Heat exhaustion happens quickly.
Lastly, be kind. We all need more kindness.

Lost & Found is located at the Information Station near Park and Russell. If you've lost or found something, come see us.

If you realize something is missing after the festival, email a description to [email protected].
If you found something and didn't know where to drop it off, email a description or picture to [email protected]

Unclaimed items will be kept for a short time after the festival, then donated to charity or disposed of properly. Keep an eye on your belongings and tag them with your name and contact number. If you notice any suspicious items left in the park, notify a safety volunteer or police officer.
