Our Story
The New Columbus Chapter of the NAACP has promised to agitate, communicate, educate, organize, and mobilize all people, in an effort to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality for all persons in the City of Columbus! We also aim to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
We have over he past several years been known for its advocacy in the areas of: Education, Economic Sustainability, Health, Youth, GOTV and Criminal Justice, we will continue to monitor and advocate in those areas. However, with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we are going to switch our focus and begin to address how this unprecedented virus is compounded for Black people and the continued struggles that exist in the Black community.
In the days to come we will share the ten-point equality implications of the Coronavirus outbreak. We will post one each day. This is our agenda, this our mission, we hope you take the journey with us! We are asking you to share and join your NAACP in advocating for our community.
