September 11, 2001, is a day our nation will never forget.
Nearly 3,000 lives were taken. Families lost loved ones. Communities were forever changed. And countless heroes answered the call, running toward danger to help complete strangers.
As IBEW members, we know what it means to stand together.
We know that an individual can be strong—but together, we are stronger. We know the value of brotherhood and sisterhood, of showing up when our fellow workers need us, and of putting service before self.
Today, we honor every innocent life lost on 9/11. We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, first responders, and all the workers who made the ultimate sacrifice. We remember the families who carried that loss long after the headlines faded.
And we remember the courage, unity, and solidarity that followed.
A union is more than a job. It is people standing shoulder to shoulder. It is brotherhood. It is sisterhood. It is having each other's backs—especially when times are hardest.
On this September 11th, the IBEW stands united in remembrance.
We remember those we lost.
We honor those who served.
We stand with the families who still carry the loss.
And we will NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸⚡
