Good morning, Local 304 Columbus.
FYI all Mail Handlers assigned to the APBS/SIPS. I was told informally that they are planning to abolish bids and repost them as PILS duty assignments. I don’t know any timeline as this was just brought to my attention. As you all know, I strive to be as transparent as I can and I refuse to allow any mail handler to be blindsided when it comes to your livelihood. I will keep you posted as more information becomes available. Please look forward to attending future membership meetings and paying close attention to updates posted on our bulletin boards. As always, please share with coworkers. Thank you!

She will be surely missed but I’m certain that those of us who knew her and worked with her, will cherish in her memory. This is the obituary for sister Kristin. Please share with coworkers💐🙏🏾

GOOD MORNING COLUMBUS LOCAL 304!!!
Just a few updates for you and please share this with fellow coworkers.
We enjoyed a great membership meeting this past Saturday. A lot of good information was put out and some great discussions. We were joined by the Local President, Greg Hill. I remain hopefull for more attendance at future meetings as I urge everyone of you to get involved💪🏾
Lastly, I have begun the Step 2 meeting regarding the inclement weather and getting those who were unable to report during the January Snow storm. However, I am still requesting that those who were affected to submit a statement to the union of your attempts to report to work.

Good evening Local 304 Columbus! I’m requesting statements from everyone who missed due to the inclement weather on last Sunday and Monday.
I need statements that tell “how you attempted to make it into work and could not.” This will go a long way in assisting me in my Class Action grievance for Admin Pay.
If you missed due to the weather please write a statement and include:
1. Name
2. EIN #
3. Action taken in attempt to report to work.
Give your statement to a Shop Steward or myself. To be included in the grievance. Listen, the language states that an attempt has to be made! What attempt did you make? Help me help you💪🏾

Good evening Columbus Local 304 mail handlers!!!

IF YOU HAD TO CALL IN ON SUNDAY OR EARLY MONDAY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER PLEASE CHECK YOUR TIME TO ENSURE YOU WERE NOT LWOPED!!! This for those who called in for Administrative Leave Pay and selected Annual leave (unless you selected the LWOP as alternative to Admin pay).

If your leave requested is not correct we need to know ASAP!

Columbus Ohio Local 304!!! I want everyone to be extremely careful and cautious this weekend. If you live in an area that authorities determine to be Level 3 and you have to miss work please DO NOT call ☎️ in sick! I repeat do not call in and use sick leave! If you need to call in due to level 2 or 3 snow emergency in your respective geographical areas please follow these steps:
1. Call in Community Disaster
2. Select alternative leave if Administrative Leave is not granted. (Annual Leave or LWOP)
3. When you return to work please contact the Union with your name, EIN, and geographical location where the level 2 or 3 snow emergency was issued.
Remember, absences for level 2 snow emergency delays and level 3 emergencies in your area cannot used against you in disciplinary actions.
I plan to file a Class Action for our facility if conditions warrant mass absences. Sick leave absences will not be included!!!
