We’re excited to welcome our new interns, Dasha and Ella, to Fund The Climb Foundation! ✨

Dasha joins us from Denison University, where she studies Politics and Public Affairs, and Ella joins us from Ohio Wesleyan University, where she studies Politics and Government. As our new Development Interns, they bring fresh perspectives, passion, and new ideas that will help strengthen our mission as we continue growing throughout 2026.

We’re grateful to have these bright young professionals join our team, and we look forward to the energy, creativity, and dedication they will bring to our work supporting individuals seeking recovery and healing in our community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Mental health affects every one of us, but for many, the challenges run deeper.

The individuals we support often face barriers like unstable housing, food insecurity, and limited access to basic resources. These obstacles don’t just make life harder...they can make healing feel out of reach.

But these individuals are not statistics. They are our neighbors. Our community. People worthy of compassion, dignity, and the chance to heal.

At Fund The Climb, we believe that recovery starts with removing barriers and meeting people where they are. Because when people are supported, healing becomes possible and hope can take root.

Together, we can build a community where no one has to face these challenges alone. 💚

A special thank you to Pastor Tiffany and Jeanette from Boulevard Presbyterian Church for their continued support of our mission.

Each month, they generously provide freshly made lunches for our patients - and they don’t just drop off and leave, they stay, serve, and spend time connecting with the individuals they are supporting. That time, those conversations, and their genuine care mean more than words can express.

They are serving more than meals - they are offering kindness, encouragement, and a sense of community that our patients truly look forward to each month.

We are so grateful for Boulevard Presbyterian Church and these incredible women. Your compassion is a powerful reminder of what it looks like when a community comes together to uplift and support one another.

Our April Awareness Luncheon was record-breaking.

With nearly 100 attendees, Fund The Climb had the opportunity to share why our mission matters. In honor of Mother’s Day, we heard powerful stories from mothers of children with substance use disorders, as well as mothers in recovery, offering a deeply personal and unforgettable perspective on this ongoing crisis.

While the faces and experiences in the room may not always reflect those we serve every day, one truth remains: the individuals facing the greatest barriers to treatment are the ones who need us most. And it will take all of us - every voice, every hand, every heart, to help remove those barriers and create real change.

These stories. These lives. These journeys. They all matter.

And now, it’s up to all of us to act.

We are incredibly grateful to the Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations (SCNO) at The Ohio State University for partnering with Fund The Climb again this past semester.

This group of talented and driven students brought not only passion and creativity, but thoughtful, strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening our work and helping move our mission forward. Their commitment to truly understanding the barriers our patients face, and how we can better address them, was evident in every step of their process.

Attending their final presentation was both inspiring and energizing. The level of insight, effort, and intentionality behind their recommendations will play a meaningful role in how we continue to grow, evolve, and expand our impact in the community.

Our Spring Island Party was a success! 🌴☀️

Thank you to all of the incredible community organizations who showed up to support by providing resources, donations, and food to serve individuals in need across Columbus.

The day was filled with energy, connection, and fun as everyone came together to enjoy each other’s company and welcome the warmer spring weather. Events like this remind us how powerful a community can be when we come together to make a difference.

Fifteen years ago a decision was made, one rooted in clarity, purpose, and the belief that a different life was possible.

Today, that decision continues to open doors for others.

Through Fund The Climb, our founder, Dr. Rob, transformed lived experience into action, recognizing that for many, the hardest part of recovery isn’t just the decision to seek help, but the barriers that stand in the way of accessing it.

Because of that understanding, Fund The Climb exists to remove those barriers,providing safe housing, transportation, food, and basic necessities so individuals have a real opportunity to engage in treatment and move forward.

This milestone is more than a personal achievement. It represents the ripple effect of one life changed and the hundreds of lives now being supported because of it.

We are honored to support and advance a mission built with this level of intention, compassion, and purpose.
