We are excited to share Lily Manning will be our second speaker of hope!

Lily Manning is an energetic and creative 11-year-old student at Bryan Elementary who loves dance, art, and spending time with family and friends. Known for her big smile and joyful personality, Lily brings light and positivity wherever she goes.
Lily has shown incredible strength as she courageously lives with Pilocytic Astrocytoma, a form of brain cancer. Through every challenge, she continues to inspire others with her resilience, faith, and joy. Her favorite verse, Joshua 1:9, reminds her to be strong and courageous because the Lord is always with her.

We are excited to officially announce one of our speakers of hope will be Angela Davis!

Angela Davis has devoted more than 25 years to the American Cancer Society and brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work as a childhood cancer survivor of 35 years. Through her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to survivorship care, Angela continues to help shape a healthier future for families across Alabama, especially in her leadership of the Alabama Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition. Angela has also participated in three long‑term trials for adults who survived childhood cancer, helping shape the future of survivorship care and awareness. She holds multiple certificates from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and is a proud 1998 graduate of Auburn University. Outside of her professional work, Angela is married to Russell and is the proud mom of three daughters: Abbie, Gracie, and Maggie Davis.

We had the opportunity to attend the 15th Annual Congressional Childhood Cancer Caucus. We received legislative updates and what the future landscape of policy can look like. It’s been an amazing experience getting to work with lawmakers and advocates in funding more research federally as well as encouraging new treatment development over the past eight years.
