Bring your furry friends for annual (and festive!) Pet Photos with Santa on Sunday, Nov. 9 from 1-4 p.m. at Myers Plants & Pottery.

This is a fundraiser put on by Friends of Shelby Humane and all proceeds benefit the shelter, helping us care for homeless pets this holiday season. ❤

It’s the paw-fect way to kick off the holidays and support a great cause! 🐶🐱❤️

Halloween Fundraiser for Shelby Humane: Spooktacular Photo Contest 🎃🐾 a fun way to showcase your dogs in costume while supporting animals in need! Here’s how it works:

📸🐶 Take a photo of your dog(s) in their Halloween costume and submit it through the contest link. A small donation fee of $20.00 is required for each entry.

🗓️ Start Date: Shelby Humane will begin accepting entries on Tuesday, October 21.

🕚 Deadline to Enter: The deadline to enter the contest is Thursday, October 30 (11:59 p.m.)

💰Cost to Enter: $20 per entry

🗳️Cost to Vote: $1 per vote

💚💙$5 Friday benefitting Shelby Humane! 🐾

Shelby Humane is starting a Five Dollar Friday campaign and could really use help from our friends! As you might have seen, the shelter has been facing tough financial times, but taking care of shelter pets is still our top priority.

Beginning this Friday, we are asking for $5 donations which will help us feed two dogs or three cats per day. Keeping these pets nourished and happy while waiting for their forever homes would take a tremendous burden off of our budget and our minds while also showing how much our community cares.

Meet our Heartworm Positive Dog of the Week
🏈🐾 Sammie – the MVP of the shelter team! 🐾🏈

🐶This sweet girl is friendly, full of energy, and walks like a pro on leash (she’s definitely first-string material when it comes to strolls!). Sammie is ready to cheer on her future family through every touchdown of life, whether it’s game day snuggles or backyard playtime.

❤️‍🩹She is heartworm positive, but don’t worry – the shelter has her covered and will pay for the full cost of her treatment, so she can lay on the couch and cheer her favorite team on!

🏈 If you’re looking for a loyal teammate to add to your roster, Sammie is ready to suit up and score a forever home!
