What does one night of dinner, drinks, music, and a little fun make possible? A lot more than you might think.

For 20+ years, the ’s Signature Event has been one of our favorite nights of the year. It’s a chance for our business community to put work aside for a few hours, get together, catch up with old friends, make new connections, and have a really good time.

And there’s an even bigger reason we keep bringing you back.

Signature is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year. As a 501(c)(6) organization, the revenue from this event helps support the work we do all year long, from advocating for local businesses to providing programs, resources, and opportunities for our business community.

So yes, you’re coming for the dinner, drinks, music, and fun. But you’re also helping make the Chamber’s work possible.

This year’s Cowboys & Couture theme adds a little fun to the evening, with live music, great food and drinks, and a mechanical bull for the brave. Western attire is completely optional, so come in boots, a suit, cocktail attire, business formal, or whatever makes you comfortable.

The theme may change from year to year, but the purpose of Signature stays the same: bringing our business community together and supporting the work that helps it thrive.

A little marketing knowledge can go a long way! 💡 This morning’s Small Business Series gave attendees a quick marketing plan refresher from Duane Carey (IMPACT Marketing & Public Relations), followed by an open Q&A with Holly Basta (Luminary PR Solutions), Andy Heiser (Patapsco Digital Marketing), and Joe Nation (Joe Does Video).

From websites and content creation to Google Business profiles, DIY vs. outsourcing, and where to even begin, the conversation was packed with practical advice for small businesses.

Lights, cameras, innovation! 🎬 Our August CEO Dinner took us behind the scenes of Maryland’s emerging virtual production industry with Zach Guerra and Daniel Strauch of Revolutionary VP Studios.

They shared how their new state-of-the-art studio in Laurel is bringing Hollywood-level technology to the region and opening the door to exciting opportunities across film, entertainment, business, and beyond.

Our August networking mixer, hosted by Boyd Cru Wines, was the perfect summer night for bringing the community together. From catching up with familiar faces to meeting someone new, we had plenty of reasons to raise a glass.
