PSA - The Corona Virus is a serious issue and needs serious immediate attention. Please take a few minutes and prepare your house and family members in case this virus goes unchecked here in the USA.

Preparedness Checklist - This could cost $20-$50 depending on the size of the household.

*Have 2 gallons of water per day on hand for each person in the home. A minimum of 72 hours should be planned for
*Stock up on canned/prepared food if called to quarantine in place (list below) - fresh food may not be available or may be contaminated
*1 gallon of bleach to disinfect surfaces and water if needed ( fill a cleaned bathtub with water if water source is declared contaminated)
*Advil or Tylenol in case a fever develops before medical help can arrive
*10 day supply of prescription medication
*Hand sanitizer - IMPORTANT to use frequently each time you come in contact with any surface or touch your face. You cannot have too much on hand for protection purposes
*Batteries on hand for radios or flashlights should they be needed
*Powered baby formula or Ensure for young children or the elderly nutritional needs
*If quarantined, immediately discard toothbrushes
*Cut fingernails to limit the amount of germs that could possibly collect under the nail bed
*If quarantined, take off all clothing and wash in hot water immediately. If you cannot wash the clothing, discard in a plastic bag and secure tightly. This includes shoes.

Since we have a government that had not had proper updates on this virus nor provide complete statuses to us citizens, it is imperative that we take responsibility to ensure that we have basic necessities until aid is able to reach us. Please do not ignore as we cannot rely on the current government administration. It may take 20-30 minutes if your time now to give you peace of mind, heaven forbid, we should be locked down.

We must get back to a sense of normalcy and expect the services from our government that our tax dollars fund. We need to send a message of needed change in our government but first, prepare for what thus government will not do for its citizens.
