We encourage all residents to stay off of the roads during this storm due to the extremely dangerous conditions that are predicted. This also makes it easier for the plows to complete their assigned routes.

If you find that you must travel, ensure that you are dressed for the weather, your vehicle is ready for the trip and you have a vehicle safety kit and back up plan in case conditions are too severe.

BATTLE of the STATES ROADTRIP!!!

The VSUAA Baltimore-Metro Chapter is hosting a bus for the Battle of the States football game on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Norfolk State University will host the game at the William "Dick" Price Stadium with a 6 PM kick-off time. The logistics are as follows:

Roundtrip Transportation and GA Game Ticket: $90
(We have secured General Admission tickets in Section 16, behind the visitors bench.)

Roundtrip Transportation Only: $55

Departure from Baltimore: 1030 AM

This Saturday the Norfolk State University basketball teams will be in Baltimore taking on Coppin State. Both NSU teams are in first place in the conference, and the women are undefeated in conference play! The women's game tips at 2pm and the men tip at 4:30pm. This is Coppin's homecoming, so you may want to get there early to avoid parking issues.

On Sunday, the NSU Concert Choir will be singing at the 10:45 am service at First Baptist Church of Highland Park, 6801 Sheriff Road, Landover, MD.
